Coastal Walks
Walks with ocean views, cliff-top tracks and beachside paths across the Central Coast.

Bouddi Coastal Walk
Cliff-top coastal walk with ocean views, beaches and boardwalk sections. Best done as a longer hike or shorter return sections between Putty Beach and Maitland Bay.

The Coast walking Track
Scenic coastal track with stairs, lookouts and ocean views. A moderate walk with some steep sections, best for those comfortable with longer distances and uneven terrain.
Short & Easy Walks
Flat or shorter walks suitable for families, beginners or a quick outing.

Norah Head Lighthouse Walk
Short, easy walk around the lighthouse with coastal views and access to rock platforms. Great for a quick stop, especially around sunrise or sunset.

Little Beach Track
Short bush track leading to a sheltered beach in Bouddi National Park. Includes stairs and shaded sections, with a peaceful beach at the end.

Girrakool Loop Track
Easy loop walk through bushland with lookouts and creek views. A short, family-friendly track with gentle gradients, making it a good option for beginners or a quick walk.

Bulgandry Aboriginal Engraving Site
Short and easy walk to a large Aboriginal engraving site. Flat track through bushland with interpretive signs explaining the cultural significance.

Terrigal Boardwalk
Flat, easy walk along the shoreline linking Terrigal Beach and the Haven. Good for a relaxed stroll with ocean views and nearby cafes.
Dog-Friendly Walks
Tracks where dogs are allowed, including foreshore paths and bush trails.

Terrigal to The Haven Walk
Easy coastal walk between Terrigal Beach and the Haven. Paved path with ocean views, popular for short walks and dog-friendly outings.

Long Jetty Foreshore Walk
Flat lakeside path along Tuggerah Lake. Ideal for walking or cycling, with open views, jetties and plenty of space for dogs.

Strickland State Forest
Network of bush tracks through dense forest. Peaceful setting with shaded trails, suitable for short walks or longer exploring.
Waterfalls Walks
Walks that lead to waterfalls, best after rain.

Somersby Falls Walking Track
Short but steep walk to a series of waterfalls. Best after rain when the falls are flowing, with steps and viewing platforms along the way.

Kariong Brook Falls Track
Moderate bushwalk leading to a secluded waterfall and swimming hole. Rougher track with some steep sections, best suited to more experienced walkers.
Circular Walks
Loop tracks where you start and finish in the same place.

Piles Creek Loop
Moderate loop walk with creek crossings, sandstone overhangs and a suspension bridge. A varied track with stairs and rocky sections through bushland and rainforest.

Maitland Bay and Mount Bouddi Loop
Moderate loop combining bushland, beaches and lookouts. Includes stairs and some steep sections, with Maitland Bay as a highlight.

The Coast to Lake Walk
Walk linking coastal and lakeside environments with varied scenery. A longer option with a mix of bush track, open sections and water views.
Lookout Walks
Walks that lead to scenic lookouts with views over the coast or bushland.

Pearl Beach to Patonga Walk
Moderate bushwalk through Brisbane Water National Park with lookouts over Broken Bay. Includes steep sections and uneven ground, linking two quiet coastal villages.

Box Head Track
Medium coastal walk with cliff-top views over Broken Bay, Palm Beach and the Hawkesbury River, following the Box Head headland to a scenic lookout.

Spion Kop Lookout Walk
Short but steep walk to a lookout with views over Brisbane Water. Quick climb with rewarding views at the top.
