Aquafun Avoca Lake is a watercraft hire business in Heazlett Park at Avoca Beach. It’s an easy way to explore the lake at your own pace. You can paddle around the island or discover the small bays and inlets.
Choose from single kayaks or double kayaks. You can also hire stand-up paddleboards and several types of pedal boats. The Extra Fun option lets you swap between different craft during your hire. Lifejackets are provided in a range of sizes. Casual hire doesn’t usually require a booking.
The lake is usually calmer than the nearby surf beach. This makes it a good place for families and beginners. It’s also a useful option when the ocean is rough or windy.
Aquafun sits beside shady picnic areas in Heazlett Park. Barbecues and a sandy swimming area are nearby. The playground and Avoca Beach shops are only a short walk away. You can easily combine your paddle with lunch or more time exploring Avoca Beach.
Aquafun also offers paddleboard lessons and guided eco tours. Group activities and children’s parties are available too.
