Il Toscano Pasta Bar is an Italian restaurant serving handmade pasta, traditional Tuscan dishes, desserts, Italian wines and beers. The restaurant has locations in Terrigal, Long Jetty and Gosford, bringing a taste of Tuscany to the Central Coast.
Founded by owner and head pasta maker Matteo, Il Toscano draws inspiration from his upbringing in the Tuscan countryside. The focus is on authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients and recipes passed down through generations. Fresh pasta and sauces are made in-house, and many dishes reflect the simple flavours and traditions of Tuscany.
The menu features a range of classic Italian favourites, including slow-cooked Ragu Toscano, Linguine Gamberi with fresh prawns, Bucatini alla Gricia and homemade meatballs. Popular starters include Prosciutto e Coccole, bruschetta and arancini, while desserts such as tiramisu and panna cotta provide a traditional finish to the meal.
Each restaurant is designed to reflect the atmosphere of a Tuscan trattoria, creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick pasta, sharing a long lunch with friends or enjoying dinner with family, Il Toscano aims to bring people together over good food and old-fashioned Italian hospitality.
All locations are fully licensed and offer a selection of Italian wines and beers to pair with your meal. Dine-in and takeaway options are available, with gluten-free pasta also offered for dine-in guests.
